Protecting your trampoline investment
A trampoline left uncovered through autumn and winter will gradually deteriorate faster than one with proper protection. The jump mat is the main casualty — sustained exposure to UV light breaks down the polypropylene fibres over time, and standing water from rain can stretch and weaken the mat in ways that are not immediately obvious. A weather cover prevents both. It fits over the mat and padding and clips or straps underneath the frame to stay put in wind.
Anchor kits address a different issue: movement. In a strong gust, a trampoline without ground anchors can tip or be carried several metres. This is the most common cause of serious trampoline damage we see. Anchor kits consist of metal stakes that go into the ground and straps that connect to the frame legs. They are straightforward to install — typically 20 to 30 minutes — and are suitable for most standard garden surfaces including grass and soil. For very hard ground such as concrete or compacted gravel, check the specific product for guidance on alternative anchoring options.

Frequently asked questions about trampoline accessories
Which size weather cover do I need for my trampoline?
Weather covers are sized to match trampoline frame diameters. You need a cover that matches the size of your trampoline — for example, a 10ft trampoline needs a 10ft weather cover. Check the product page for the specific model to confirm compatibility. If you are unsure of your trampoline's size, the diameter in feet should be listed on the product documentation that came with it.
How do I fit a weather cover?
Weather covers are designed to fit over the trampoline mat and padding while the safety enclosure is in place. Most covers have an elasticated edge or securing straps that clip underneath the frame to hold the cover in position. Fitting takes around 10 to 15 minutes. The cover should be removed when the trampoline is being used and replaced once jumping is finished for the day. Leaving the cover on during use would prevent the mat from bouncing correctly.
Do I need an anchor kit?
If your garden is exposed to wind or you are in an area that experiences regular storms, an anchor kit is worth having. Trampolines can be moved or tipped by wind even when they appear stable on level ground. An anchor kit reduces this risk significantly. If your garden is sheltered by fencing or trees on all sides and wind is rarely an issue, you may decide the risk is low — but for most gardens, particularly those open at one or more sides, we would recommend adding one.
Will the anchor kit work on all ground types?
Anchor kits with ground stakes work on grass and soil, which covers the majority of garden installations. For harder surfaces such as concrete, compacted gravel, or artificial grass laid over a solid base, standard stakes may not penetrate sufficiently. Check the specific product page for guidance — some anchor kits offer alternative attachment methods suited to hard surfaces. What delivery options are available for accessories?
Free next-day delivery is included on all accessory orders. Orders placed before 11am on a working day are typically dispatched the same day for next-day arrival. A tracking link is sent by email once your order is on its way. Accessories can be ordered at the same time as your trampoline or separately at any point.
