Buying a 12ft trampoline: what to know

A 12ft trampoline needs around 16 feet of clear space in each direction once the enclosure is in place. Compared to a 10ft, the additional 3 feet of diameter makes a practical difference — particularly if more than one child wants to jump at the same time or if older children want more room to build height.

Weight limits across our 12ft range run from around 100kg to 150kg. This size is popular with families who have children aged 8 and above, and the frames are robust enough for adult use too. The spring count is generally higher than on 10ft models, which contributes to better lift for heavier jumpers.

If you are deciding between a 10ft and a 12ft, the key question is garden space. A 12ft trampoline needs roughly 3 extra feet of clearance on all sides. If your garden can accommodate it, the extra room gives two children more space to jump simultaneously without interfering with each other. If the garden is borderline, the 10ft is the safer fit.

Assembly takes 60 to 90 minutes with two people. Spring tensioning tool and full safety enclosure are included as standard.
